Hakeem is a classically trained performer and
trained in teaching voice.
He is a graduate of Morgan State University,
(Bachelor's in Arts)
and
Royal Northern College of Music,
(Master's in Performance).
From Classical to Contemporary Works,
Hakeem has performed in musicals, plays, operas, and concert works.
Hakeem has written and performed many songs.
Most notably, his song "IWishToHoldYouAgain." can be heard in Episode 108 of Spike Lee‘s She‘s Gotta Have It.
Additionally, Keep on Movin’ On (UK Mix) was played on BBC Radio in Manchester in the Summer 2022.
Hakeem was born with a love of music and
started singing before he could talk.
He has never looked back since.
